How many pellets do I need?

Here is a more detailed formula for helping you figure out how many bags you'll need for your project. 5lbs is about 15 cups. So 1 bag will cover about 150 sq ft of lawn, at the rate of 1 cup per 10sq. ft. However, we recommend using your judgement, for a lawn that just needs a little boost, you can use a little less, if your lawn is quite sad, use a little more. However, we don't recommend using much more than the recommended dosage, as you can burn the plants. Same thing goes for a garden, but for fruits and vegetables we highly suggest using a good compost in conjunction with our pellets.
